- For students securing top three ranks at the regional level in Secondary School Leaving Certificate/Secondary School Certificate/Intermediate/Higher Secondary Public Examinations in Government Schools: 1st Rank: ₹20,000/-; 2nd Rank: ₹15,000/-; 3rd Rank: ₹10,000/-. - For students scoring centum in the subjects involving theory in Secondary School Leaving Certificate/Higher Secondary Course Examinations: ₹5,000/- per subject. - **Mode of Disbursement:** The award will be given through Direct Benefit Transfer or by Demand Draft.- **Frequency:** The award is disbursed to the eligible beneficiaries every year.- **Tie-Breaker Condition:** In the event of more than one student getting equal marks, the concerned full prize amount will be distributed to each of them in full. This distribution includes the marks secured by way of revaluation at a later date as prescribed by the concerned Board.

The Directorate of School Education, Puducherry, will prepare the initial list of eligible students for the Award of cash incentive based on the total marks obtained in the respective Public Examination. This preparation utilizes the result analysis published by the concerned Board (Secondary School Leaving Certificate/Secondary School Certificate/Intermediate/Higher Secondary Public Examinations).

If any doubts or disputes arise concerning the selection or eligibility during the implementation of the Scheme, the matter shall be referred to the Secretary to Government (Education). The decision made by the Secretary to Government (Education) regarding the interpretation or clarification of any provision shall be considered final.

Once the list of eligible beneficiaries is finalized annually, the corresponding cash award will be disbursed through either Direct Benefit Transfer or by Demand Draft. If multiple students secure equal marks, the full prize amount corresponding to the rank achieved will be distributed in full to each student, even if the marks were secured via revaluation.
