In order to make the benefits of science education and research accessible to every individual in the state, information regarding the development of scientific consciousness and the dissemination of scientific knowledge among students, teachers, and the general public through online and offline mediums is disseminated through various social media sites, USERC Science Awareness Centres (currently 200 in the state), and USERC Nodal Officers working in higher education.
Step 1: Offline application — step 1
There is no fixed duration for outreach programs; some last one day, while others span multiple days. To participate, USERC first solicits applications through a Google form, after which all students are free to join. In offline programs, students from nearby schools and the general public can participate, with information provided by the relevant venue or USERC Science Awareness Centres.
Applications are accepted only on the official government portal.
