**Grant-in-Aid** Sanctioned to the extent of 75% of the estimated cost expenditure of the works as the first instalment per work for the execution of minor works to the school buildings. **Ceiling Limit** The ceiling limit is ₹ 50,000/-, other than for the works for which funds have been allotted under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Scheme. **Mode of Payment** The payment towards the expenditure is made through cheques.

Step 1: The interested School Education Committee / Urban Education Committee, after identifying the necessary repair works, should prepare a detailed proposal that includes all the essential details such as cost estimates, etc.
